ARTIST'S STATEMENT
With my base of the urban domestic experience and my weapons of humour including wit, whimsey, parody, satire and nonsense I enjoy making the ordinary extraordinary and the devalued valued. I regard household implements as icons of the past and to give them new breath I "play" with them in any way possible in any material and in any manner including the mechanical and the electrical. I survive on a sense of humour and intuitively enjoy the simple and the childlike.
